Alaska
For Alaskan hunts the following items on the list below are recommended for a safe and comfortable outdoor experience. In Alaska we dress in layers which works very well with the ever changing weather in a given day. Boots are very important as the walking conditions are sometimes quite challenging. A leather or Gortex boot with excellent ankle support is highly recommended. It is also a good idea to bring boots that have been previously broke in. Raingear should be lightweight and of a high quality. Fleece jackets, fleece vests and shirts work very well. Dress is casual while in lodges. Waders or hip boots will be provided if required. Guns 20 or 12 gage double guns, ammo, water bottles, hunting vests, blaze orange caps, bug repellent, and head nets will be provided.
